Very nice composition! Which elements you plan to model and which ones to insert in Photoshop? I’d advise to model the interior, and maybe even insert a sofa and two persons. Fire itself, wine glass and blankets may be easier to put in Photoshop. If you put one rectangular light in Rhino where the fireplace is (to simulate light coming from the fire), then you can have a nice dramatic “backlight” of the scene. Looking forward to see how this progresses!
First test- oh, I thought you were doing the fireplace / interior shot. The rendering is the exterior, though… I must say I kinda liked the fireplace composition much more. Even if you maybe now want to put the fireplace and the scene inside, showing the exterior (while I understand what you want to achieve) is making it 3x more complicated (with also 3x more things that can go wrong). Also, try to push Rhino/modeling a little more (it will help if it was only interior, like in your sketch). And put in some 3D furniture models (see tutorial I made, with models to download), that will give your image much better sense of space – currently is all too flat.
