The main character of this scene is a woman on her wedding day. I imagine the setting as a wedding outside which is being ‘ruined’ by the rain. She is pretty upset and disappointed because of the fact that in her wedding day (special moment) it is ruined by rain. But there is a sense of irony. Other characters in the scene could be family and friends that are invited to the wedding to celebrate the special moment.
“It’s like rain on your wedding day”
Ocean Drive- Duke Dumont
How I picture this scene is a couple of early 20’s in a car riding through a boulevard at night. They aren’t very comfortable since they’ve had some rough times. So it seems like their love is dying and they have some mixed feelings.
“We’re driving down the boulevard, we’re riding through the dark night. With half the tank and empty heart. Pretending we’re in love, but its never enough”
