The edge alignment doesn’t exist in your image, please see below image:
Movement: It would have been even better if these two groups of shapes were like below:
(black line in my example just serves to mark where how the “edge alignments” happen between the star and the rectangle)
And about text process description: I’m too tired to focus now, but on the first one, did you notice that the small rectangle is exactly 3 times smaller than the big one (because big has a side of the size of exactly 3 x radius of circle, and the small one just one radius) ?
