I think this is a great work. While the storyboard is not 100% perfect, it really captures the essence of the idea and present it in a perfectly understandable way. Idea itself is interesting, too – it’s exactly a kind of idea that would work well for the class, and that it lends itself to making a nice product and interesting viral video. I think the greatest value of the idea is that it is largely grounded in the problems we are very familiar today, and it works in a such a simple way that we can immediately understand it.
When I say storyboard is not 100% perfect, I am only refering to the fact that -if you’d want to make a storyboard for an actual video- it would need a few more shots to connect some of the cuts, at least in the beginning. For example, you could really use one medium shot between the close-up at the cooking pot and the following close-up of the finger on the cooking controls – jumps between the close-ups are hard to comprehend especially in the beginning of the videos.
But the mere fact that I am commenting on such a detail is a testament to overall great work you’ve done in this class.
Oh yes – another great plus for this work is actually making a prototype to show and test the idea. Like, like, like!
